Our story of working with an award winning Builder

David Smallcombe LTD is a well known name in many parts of Worcestershire and beyond. Having a reputation for designing and building characterful homes, with attention to high quality, has seen the company grow from its initial start up almost 30 years ago.

The addition of a small joinery shop in 2001 was initially to produce bespoke items that gave the company more control on both quality and delivery. We found our made to measure joinery became increasingly more popular, especially in listed buildings that we specialise in, and therefore started our journey to expansion.

Charlie & Alex joined David Smallcombe in 2016 working on sites, workshop and design. It was here we gained our HNC in Building. We have worked on a variety of beautifully bespoke projects, with never two items the same from bathrooms to kitchens, and dressing rooms to windows. Whilst being a part of the company, we were thrilled to be awarded many prestigious awards from the FMB including Heavenly Builder, Best Bathroom and runner up for House Renovation.

By 2023, Alex & Charlie decided to take their joinery, construction and design levels to new heights, and took on the challenge to open their first ever kitchen and joinery showroom. Although they have rebranded as Church Farm Kitchens and Joinery, David Smallcombe LTD is our parent company and we work alongside each other daily.

We realised this relationship would have the best results for our clients. They could now enter a luxury showroom, inspiring bespoke kitchen and joinery design in their homes, whilst also offering the whole build service for any projects all under one roof. And if that wasn’t enough, the workshop itself is only one roof down!
