We are into April and this month’s personality behind our kitchen door designs is our almost 7 year old son Teddy. As mentioned previously, our showroom displays are more than just a painted wood door, but have been aptly named after our family, pets and personalities with valid reasons. Perhaps you will see one that strikes a resemblance to you, or someone close in your family too!
The Teddy:
Next up we have Teddy, who coincidentally has his birthday this month too. If I had to sum up my cheeky chappy in 3 words it would be strong, handsome and full of character!
Our in frame design here sees a plain, strong frame that supports the country style characterful doors. We wanted a frame that when paired with a bold bead in the shaker door, would support it, rather than distract it. This is more of a traditional, rustic kitchen door design, but with a slimmer shaker, gives it slightly modern and handsome touch. I absolutely love this collection in oak, especially to see all the knots and the grain which reminds me of my sons growing character. If you are looking for a feature island in your country kitchen, this would be a strong choice!
