Kitchen Ideas: How to decorate your kitchen for Christmas
As the festive season is official upon us, with Christmas lights on homes and festive music playing, we give you our favorite ways to add some Christmas Sparkle to your kitchen;
1. Green Foliage
This looks particular impressive when adorned around the mantle or even the cornice. Go a step further and intwine some fairy lights, red beads or holly for some added sparkle!
2. Tea towels and mugs
Simple, but effective.There are some gorgeous festive tea towels or mugs that can be hung around yourkitchen. Places like Sophie Allport or Emma Bridgewater have some lovely tastefuldesigns.
Instead of lighting your windows, use some lights to decorate and hand on your splashback. These give a wonderful wintery glow especially when in a mantle alcove.
4. Floral center piece
If you don’t want to go overboard, a tasteful floral display with traditional Christmas greens and reds is a wonderful way to add some subtle Christmas cheer. If you want to take a step further, you can also add some small fairy lights too, or some orange scented potpourri to give off a wonderful wintery scent!
5. Christmas Bows
If you are feeling creative, why not make some fashionable Christmas bows to tie around the kitchen? These may to be handles, back of bar stools, or even to any appliances on the counter top for that added festive detail. Alternatively you can always buy some online and choose which colours match your kitchen best.
